Leading financial institution, Access Bank Plc, has scored another first.
In a period when banks are sacking their staff and salaries are being slashed, Access Bank Plc is moving ahead.
Just recently, the bank which is always thinking about its customers revolutionized banking in Africa with “PaywithCapture 5.0”.
As if that was not enough, its next stop was the door of its staff, as they were given a treat on Monday, August 22.
Members of staff of the bank were pleasantly surprised by a salary increase in spite of the prevailing economic realities in the country.
The Bank’s leadership, headed by Herbert Wigwe, approved this increase to cushion the effect of rising costs in the country.
Other Banks definitely need to take a cue from Access Bank Plc and the leadership style of Wigwe.
