Nigerian fans of late actress Aisha Abimbola will have the chance to pay her their last respect in some days time.
The Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts Practitioners, (ANTP), has concluded plans to host an artistes night for the deceased who recently died in Canada following a failed battle with cancer.
According to information available, the programme of event which will hold inside the LTV 8 Blue Roof will span Thursday, May 24 and Friday May 25.
The programme will involve a candle light and a fidau prayer and free T-Shirts will be given to attendees.
Speaking on the event, Nigerian actor and Producer Saidi Balogun said that “The burial is being handled in conjunction with the Canadian Government and the family of the deceased based in Canada and The Golden Movie Ambassadors of Nigeria (TGMAN). However, a candle light procession/ artistes’ night will be held in her honour on Thursday May 24, 2018, while fidau prayers will be offered on Friday may 25.”
The late thespian who died in Canada has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
