The All Progressive Congress (APC) has expelled a former National Vice-Chairman of the party.
Hillary Eta was expelled on Tuesday, December 8, by the party’s National Executive Committee at an emergency meeting that held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai informed journalists that the refusal of Eta to withdraw the court case instituted against the caretaker committee prompted his expulsion.
The meeting was attended by President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Others include the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, and the speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and party chiefs.
