Politics APC Has Nursed, Healed Itself, Says Buhari Published 3 years ago on April 7, 2022 By The Octopus News Admin Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, has stated that the ruling party has “nursed its wounds and healed itself”. Buhari stated this in Abuja while meeting with Abdullahi Adamu, the new national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State on Thursday, April 7. Speaking during the meeting which took place at the presidential villa in Abuja, Buhari said that policies of his government is aimed at nothing but the betterment of the country and its people. He said; “Today, we should all be happy that the party has nursed its wounds and healed itself sufficiently to march forward to face the challenges of the coming state and general elections. “When I reflect on policies of the administration on the economy and specifically in the development of agriculture, infrastructure, ICT and innovation and the welfare measures we have put in place for women, the youth and the less privileged members of the society, I get fresh confidence that our citizens will continue supporting the APC in our electoral battles. “Our government is working for the betterment of the country. Our policies and programmes aim at nothing but the betterment of the country and its people. Essentially, the party should take the programmes of the government to the people to infuse confidence into them.” Post Views: 750 Related Topics:Abdullahi AdamuAll Progressives CongressAPC Has Nursed; Healed Itself; Says BuhariGovernor Mai Mala Buni Up Next 2023: How Professor Yemi Osinbajo Announced Ambition Don't Miss Court Dismiss Lawsuit Seeking To Remove Ayade From Office You may like Osun APC Withdraws From Saturday Local Government Election Tinubu Best Thing To Happen To Nigerians, Says Lagos Assembly Humility Can Wait: Seyi Tinubu Set Sight On Bigger Dreams EndSARS Protest Was Designed By Obidients To End Tinubu-Akande Political Activist Tells APC To Caution Obasa Against Making Inciting Statements President Tinubu Approves Obasa’s Removal As Lagos Assembly Speaker Click to comment Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
