It is a fact that Nigerian entertainer 2Baba went underground after he pulled the plug on his planned nationwide anti-government protest.
The reason for this has been attributed by some people to the shame of not finishing what he started even though the singer maintains he had to cancel the programme because of security reasons.
The ‘African Queen’ singer has however been able to surmount his shame, as he was one of the acts who performed at the recently held charity concert put together by Olori of Ife, Wuraola Zynab Otiti.
The concert which held at Eko Hotel, Lagos saw 2Baba being joined by other artistes such as Darey Art Alade, Waje and Adekunle Gold as they entertained guests present at the event.
Asides this, 2Baba, was also a guest at the office of United Nations Refugee Agency, (UNHCR), where on behalf of his foundation, 2Face Idibia Reach-Out Foundation, he donated N3.5 million and announced a charity concert for June aimed at raising funds for Internally Displaced People (IDPs).
No doubt, 2Baba is trying to ride out the harsh waves of a major disappointment.
