Money has a way of changing a man’s outward appearance.
This is a fact, hence the controversial saying that a man is not yet formed until he is rich.
Those who observed Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s appearance prior to his winning the gubernatorial primaries of the All Progressive Congress (APC), would relate with this saying.
As the Managing Director/CEO of the Lagos State Development and Property Corporation (LSDPC), Sanwo-Olu hardly had the mien and charisma many would have expected from a man who had occupied the office for two years.
Hardly stepping out in statement-making attires, his friends would argue that he was more concerned about the job.
Not a man with a lot of flesh, he also appeared gaunt. However, those days ended with the declaration by All Progressive Congress (APC) that he would represent the party in the gubernatorial election of Lagos State.
Since Sanwo-Olu kicked off his gubernatorial campaign, it has been a different man that has been gracing the several political marketing and perception management billboards scattered all over the state. His fresh look just can’t be overemphasized.
Unlike in the past when he was known for his casual appearance, the man is now making bold fashion statements with his attires, accessories and even his carriage. Indeed, money makes the man.
