Bankole to speak on ‘Executive-Legislative mutual relations’ at 5th NIA
Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole has been confirmed as the special guest speaker for the forthcoming 5th Nigeria Impact Awards, NIA in Lagos.
Bankole, the erstwhile No 4 citizen of the country will be speaking on the topic, Executive-Legislative Mutual Relations; the panacea for National Development.
In a statement released by the founder of the annual awards, Omooba Damilare Oloyede jointly signed by the awards’ coordinator, Emeka Nwaneri, Dimeji Bankole was described the ‘perfect personality fit for such a topic at this critical time of our national discussion’.
‘Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole is a prominent national political leader, an ambassador for the youth and a Speaker-emeritus. No doubt one knows that, he is the perfect personality fit for such a topic at this critical time in our national discussion’ the statement reads.
‘We are pleased to inform the media, our corporate partners and the general public that as we countdown to the 27th of November, 2016 for the forthcoming 5th Nigeria Impact Awards holding at banquet hall of the prestigious R&A Hotels, Allen Avenue, Ikeja Lagos, Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode and his wife, Mrs Bolanle are set as the Chief Host to welcome our special guest of honour, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara to the splendor of the state of excellence’. Oloyede was further quoted in the statement.
NIA in its 5th edition will be honouring politicians, great personalities, corporate bodies, business executives as well as entertainers whose discharge of duties in the last one year had created great impact.
