Barely two weeks after releasing Boogie Down, Baseline Music and Saeon have joined forces to give the Nigerian music industry yet another hit music video.
Titled “Awada Erekere”, the love song produced by Gospel, was released last year. Set in a fictional location, the pop star uses the visual of Awada Erekere to tell the story of the fantasy of a typical young African woman.
Over the period of 4.07 minutes, we are exposed to a wide range of thought- provoking techniques used in relationships, as well as the un-spoken role of the typical Nigerian woman.
Produced by Rose Lovell and directed by Matt Nefdt and executive produced by Baseline Entertainment, the video was shot in Durban South Africa.
“Baseline Music is all about nurturing and Promoting talented young musicians, we saw the talent in Saeon and we are confident that with the guidance of our team, She will soon be a force to reckon with not only in Nigeria, but in Africa as a whole.” Howie T says.
Saeon is presently working on materials with top producers for the release of her yet to be titled debut album. Known for describing her genre of music as a “Fusion” Saeon is primarily an R’n’B artiste, but her music also consists of other genres from Afro Beats, to Pop, Techno, Dub-step, and even Rap.
