26-year-old Mexican, Vanessa Ponce de Leon, has been crowned the 2018 Miss World.
Leon was crowned at an event that held in Sanya City Arena, China.

Vanessa, a model and volunteer, took over from India’s Manushi Chhillar, who won the Miss World pageant last year
First runner up was Thailand’s Nicolene Pichapa Limsnukan, a 20-year-old studying business administration. Miss Belarus Maria Vasilevich, Miss Jamaica Kadijah Robinson and Miss Uganda Quiin Abenakyo were also among the final five.
