Şti.
Representative of both companies signed the commercial Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on behalf of their companies. Mr. Joseph Ebata, the Chief Executive Officer signed on behalf of Bervidson International Limited (Bervidson) while Mr. Suat Soysat, the Chief Executive Officer on behalf of Mia Organizasyon Restorasyon Yayincilik Ltd. Sti. (Soysal)
The MOU was signed during a three-3day visit of Mr. Joseph Ebata, CEO, Bervidson to Turkey for the Retail days at the invitation of Mr. Suat Soysat, CEO Soysal.
The purpose of the Agreement is to define the basis for cooperation between Soysal and Bervidson in the area of business development promotions of the Parties for consultancy services in global expansion of Turkish Companies in Nigeria and other African Countries.
The agreement makes Bervidson to link Business interest in Nigeria and other West Africa countries interested in doing business in Turkey or Turkish businessmen who are interested in establishing business presence in Nigeria, and other Africa Countries.
The agreement makes it possible for Bervidson to leverage Soysal’s extensive network of relationships and contacts and through its industry events and activities in organizing conferences to introduce and promote Bervidson to potential clients in Turkey with a view to encouraging these third parties to consider Bervidson for investing in Nigeria and other African Countries.
The Principle of the agreement will ensure that:
1.1. Bervidson will facilitate the process of engagement of Nigerian companies and senior individuals with Turkish companies seeking to establish their presence in retail and retail related industries in Nigeria and other African countries through partnership or franchising, as well as facilitate the process of direct investment of Turkish companies in retail and retail related industries in Nigeria and other African countries.
1.2. Soysal will facilitate introductions companies and senior individuals within the retail sector, through its long established network of retail and retail related industries (including but not limited with shopping malls, all kinds of retail suppliers, FMCG producers, clothes manufacturers) contacts in Turkey to Bervidson. Where possible or whenever potential relationships or projects are identified, so that Bervidson can be introduced and promoted as finding/being master franchisee/partner and/or consultancy for Nigeria and other African Countries where Bervidson can give these services.
