Beauty might open doors for a woman, but can hardly ensure that the doors remains open.
This position is indeed familiar to Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, the wife of long-deceased warlord, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, hence the pretty-faced woman has continued to work hard in all of the endeavors she has found herself in.
It was this hardwork that saw her being appointed Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Affairs by President Goodluck Jonathan in 2011.
Although that appointment was met with mixed feelings, in 2012, the woman became Nigeria’s Ambassador to Ghana and later Ambassador to the Kingdom Of Spain, affirming that her appointments were not by accident.
Subsequently after serving her tenior as Nigeria’s Ambasador to Spain, she took a back seat as a diplomat. But like someone who has something to prove, the fair-complexioned woman has returned in a big way.
Fair-complexioned Odumegwu-Ojukwu bounced back in a big way emerging as a Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, thus reaffirming her place as a prominent Nigerian politician, diplomat.
