The reality show industry is mourning with the death of Francisca Owumi.
Owumi, was the first runner-up on the debut edition of Big Brother Nigeria (BBN) reality television show which aired in 2006.
According to a post on social media, she died after a brief illness. Her family announced her passing in a post shared on social media on Thursday, 29 August, 2024.
Owumi’s photos were shared with the caption
‘’A daughter and sister. Make her soul rest in peace, Amen’’
The deceased celebrity would be remembered for her fierce dance steps while in the reality show house.
She was in the BBN house with the likes of Katung Aduwak who won the show, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, Gideon Okeke, Maureen Osuji, Ify Ejikeme, late Joseph Ada and others.
After the show, Owumi had a stint in the music industry dropping two singles namely ‘Gbadun You” and Diva’ on her record label, Cisca Entertainment.
