Billionaire businessman, Cosmas Maduka is not known for speaking about relationships and marriages.
However, he did recently when he highlighted the importance of money in marriage, advocating that love is not enough because no one eats it.
Advising women, Maduka said that a man must have at least a two or three-bedroom apartment and tell his woman how much he earns monthly before marriage.
The Chairman of Coscharis Group said finding the middle of the road is also important.
Maduka who spoke while appearing on Seun Okinbaloye’s Mic On podcast stated thus:
“There are ladies who jump at a man because he says, ‘I’ll marry you. I love you.’ Will you eat love?
“I told ladies, I say, ‘If you marry a man who has no job because he speaks in tongues, you’re not spiritual.’
“I do not encourage ladies to marry a man that has no plan for his life.
“The first thing I said, minimum, he must have a two or three-bedroom apartment where he’s living. He must tell you how much he earns every month. You’re not going to live by faith with her.”
He added that when he was ready to get married, he did not take his wife to live in his parents’ house, instead, he ensured he got a three-bedroom house because he knew he had plans to get married.
“That’s part of the maturity,” he added.
He further stated that he was already working and making enough money to take care of a family before he decided to get married.
