Controversial crossdresser, Idris Okuneye popular as Bobrisky has denied being the person in an audio alleging he paid operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) N15,000,000 to drop money laundering charges against him.
Bobrisky’s position came after the Chairman of the EFCC, Ola Olukoyede, ordered an immediate investigation into the alleged bribe.
In an audio released by social activist, Very Dark Man, a person said to be Bobrisky had made the allegation.
In the audio, a person supposedly Bobrisky told a yet-to-be-identified person in a phone conversation that he paid some unnamed officials of the commission the sum as bribe.
Bobrisky has now denied the allegation, insinuating that the audio recording is fake.
