Uncategorized BREAKING: Buhari Floors Atiku At Supreme Court Published 5 years ago on October 30, 2019 By The Octopus News Admin The All Progressive Congress (APC), presidential candidate in the last presidential election, President Muhammadu Buhari has floored the his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar at the Supreme Court. On Wednesday, the Supreme Court dismissed the appeal filed Abubakar, challenging the election of President Buhari. Led by the Chief Justice of Nigeria Tanko Muhammad, the Supreme Court dismissed the petition moments after it began hearing the appeal. Recall that the Presidential Election Tribunal only last month dismissed Abubakar’s and PDP’s petition, seeing them appealling the judgement at the Supreme Court on 66 grounds. The Abubakar legal team among other things maintain at the Supreme Court that the Presidential Election Tribunal erred in law “when they relied on ‘overall interest of justice’ to hold that the 2nd Respondent’s Exhibits R1 to R26, P85, and P86 were properly admitted in evidence.” Post Views: 1,341 Related Topics:Atiku AbubakarBREAKING: Buhari Floors Atiku At Supreme CourtMohammadu BuhariSupreme Court Judgement Up Next AMBODE: LAGOS SPEAKER, OBASA, ASSEMBLY AGREE TO MAINTAIN STATUS QUO Don't Miss Ambode Drags Obasa, Lagos Assembly, Others To Court You may like Nigerians Are Tired Of Your Trial-and-Error Policies, Atiku Tells President Tinubu Atiku Reacts To Judgement On Rivers State Allocation Onanuga Addresses President Tinubu ‘T-Pain’ Moniker Edo 2024: Atiku Abubakar Endorses Ighodalo Atiku Slams Tinubu’s Government Over Arrest of NLC President, SERAP Office Takeover Atiku Slams FG Over 18-year Age Limit For NECO, WASSCE Click to comment Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
