The election of Emmanuel Bwacha as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State has been nullified by the Supreme Court.
A five-man panel of the apex court in its judgment on Wednesday, February 1 affirmed the verdict of the federal high court which held that the APC did not conduct any valid governorship primary in the state.
The panel was led by Kudirat Kekere-Ekun
Recall that on September 20, a federal high court in Jalingo, Taraba State, sacked Bwacha as APC’s governorship candidate after David Sabo Kente, one of the aspirants filed a suit challenging Bwacha’a candidature.
