The saying that there is a thin line between love and hate is a popular one.
That the line is thin however does not mean that politicians have the ability to easily swing from one end to the other.
Known to have been painted as one of the worst politicians, Senator Bukola Saraki proved otherwise when he recently showed his humble side.
In a period when politicians who have lost elections are consulting lawyers, Saraki opted to tow another path, accepting his fate with all humility, flying the peace kite, and acknowledging that Kwarans have the right to pick who they want to represent them in the Senate.
Saraki, a former two-term governor and senator lost the Kwara Central Senatorial District to Dr Yahaya Oloriegbe of All Progressive Congress (APC).
