In times of trouble, one man who has stood by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, is Dino Melaye.
Aside being loyal to him, Melaye’s loyalty extends to other members of Saraki’s family including his wife, Toyin, who he has in the past described as a friend and sister.
Many would remember how Melaye and other senators escorted Mrs. Saraki to the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), when was invited for questioning.
Recently, it was payback time for Saraki, as he made sure Melaye’s unalloyed loyalty was reciprocated.
During a recent visit to Lokoja for the fidau prayers for late deputy majority leader of the House of Representatives, Buba Jubril, at Kabawa Primary School, Saraki was his brother’s keep ensuring Melaye’s safety at all time during their short stay in the Kogi State capital.
