“Twice As Tall” artiste, Burna Boy, has signed an endorsement deal with foremost Nigerian smart accessory brand, Oraimo.
Though the circumstances surrounding the deal is unclear, sources revealed that the ‘Last Last’ crooner might have replaced 2face as the brand’s ambassador.
Prior to now, 2face was the brand icon of Oraimo.
The Grammy award winner acknowledged his status as the new oraimo brand ambassador via his social media page.
He said: “This is a big win for my generation of Africans all over the world, and this should be a lesson to every African out there: no matter where you are, no matter what you plan to do, you can achieve it, no matter where you’re from, you are a king.”
This audacious brand endorsement follows his recognition by the Federal Government of Nigeria with the award of Member of the Federal Republic, (MFR).
”Burna Boy” whose real name Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu won the World Album Category at the 2021 Grammy Awards for his album “Twice As Tall”.
While reacting to the deal, Oraimo’s Country Marketing Manager, David Onyeneke, said: “Burna Boy is a huge inspiration to many young people. His consistency in the music industry and his journey to becoming one of Africa’s biggest artists is something we, at Oraimo, find very relatable to our journey as a brand. We are confident that Burna Boy is a perfect fit for the brand.”
