Alhaji Aliko Dangote at the World Economic Forum
Africa’s richest man and President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, would soon be investing $2.3bn in rice and sugar production in the north.
The billionaire industrialist made this known on Friday, May 4, at the World Economic Forum, WEF Africa.
Speaking at the event, Dangote said creating job opportunities is the surest way to end the Boko Haram scourge in Nigeria.
He also revealed that he would be investing a total of $12billion in Nigeria, and $4bn outside the country over the next four years.
