Doyin Okupe, onetime Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has been dragged into the storm of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Okupe, was perhaps the loudest individual in the administration of President Jonathan.
Having been miserly with his words since the beginning of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, Okupe became a subject of interest when the EFCC recently beamed its search light on him.
In a social media post, Okupe explained how he spent N100million collected from Sambo Dasuki. He also expressed his disappointment on how the anti-crime agency made his health condition a public affair.
What followers of the EFCC investigation are waiting to see is if the man will walk away having explained himself or whether he will have another day at the office of the agency.
