Four years ago, Susan Oluwabimpe Filani popular as Goldie was one of the hottest female musicians.
However, four years after her death, her fans seem to have moved on, as very little of the singer was mentioned on the fourth anniversary of her death on Tuesday, February 14.
Fans who celebrate Goldie in death continue to dwindle yearly and 2017 is no different.
From her closest friend Denrele and her former record label Kennis Music, nothing meaningful was done to either mark or celebrate the death anniversary of the singer.
Goldie died on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Reddington Hospital, Victoria Island, Lagos at the age of 32.
Having complained of headache, she slumped and died. However, autopsy report dated February 19, and signed by Dr. O.O Oyewole of the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital attributed her death to intracerebellar hemorrhage.
One of the high points of Goldie’s career was attending the 55th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
