Following repeated cases of coronavirus in the country, the Federal Government of Nigeria has issued a travel ban on 13 countries to curtail the spread of the virus.
The ban which will prevent inbound flights into the country will take effect from Saturday, March 21, 2020.
The countries affected includes China, Italy, Iran, South Korea, Spain, Japan and France.
Other countries are Germany, United States of America, Norway, United Kingdom, Netherlands and Switzerland.
According to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, the visa-on-arrival policy has also been suspended.
Mustapha, head of the Presidential Taskforce on Coronavirus, also said those who arrived into the country in the last 15 days from the 13 countries, would be subjected to supervised 14 days self-isolation.
