Egwinobe Jude, an Esan, Edo State indigene has refuted reports that he is the Taxi driver who drove Nigeria’s first Coronavirus victim to Ewekoro in Ogun State.
Jude who refuted the reports made popular by African Independent Television (AIT), and selected blogs said that it was a fake news.
Speaking in a video, Jude stated that he is currently resident in Edo State, and has not been to Lagos in two years.
Urging Nigerians to help spread the video to make sure that people are aware that he did not drive the Coronavirus infected Italian and is not infected, Jude said he was at home with his family when the story began to trend on social media.
Recall that there were reports days back that the taxi driver who drove an Italian infected with Coronavirus had escaped quarantine and was demanding the sum of N100m before surrendering himself to the Ogun State government.
