A Federal High Court in Abuja has adjourned the trial of the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
The trial was adjourned till January 19, after Kanu objected to the fresh charges brought against him by the Federal Government.
Recall that the Federal Government had filed fresh terrorism charges against the detained leader of the proscribed IPOB leader before the Federal High Court on Monday, January 17.
As a result, the initial seven counts bordering on treasonable felony and terrorism, against him, increased to 15.
However, at his trial, Kanu objected to the fresh charges.
