Arik Air is currently facing one of its most challenging period as far as its image is concerned.
The airline is been accused of insensitivity where its customers are involved.
One of the most common routes which flyer have continuously criticised is the Lagos-Port-Harcourt route, as one of Arik Air’s customer recounted to www.theoctopusnews.com how his seat was sold to another person despite the fact that he arrived the airport early enough for his flight.
Furthermore, he recounted how he had to wait for five hours before boarding another plane thereby missing his flight abroad.
Another passenger also alleged that his seat was given to an ex-minister and when he asked the man to excuse him he was labeled rude.
Arik Air is also been accused of been in the habit of using the public address system to announce that they won’t take a particular passenger due to the fact that he or she had insisted on occupying a seat they had been given a boarding pass for.
We were even told how a particular Arik Air’s pilot was seen hitting the dashboard of the plane when a customer who was been cajoled to change his seat so that two friends could sit by each other refused.
Such has become the way of the airline for sometimes now and interestingly all complains been made by their abused customers seem to have fallen on deaf ears.
