HKN boss, Davido, has given reasons why it would be unfair of him to speak about the speculations surrounding the death of Tagbo Umeike.
Tagbo, who died on Tuesday, October 3, (his birthday) had been allegedly spotted with Davido and his crew drinking and making merry in a lounge before he died under mysterious circumstances.
Onetime actress, Caroline Danjuma, brought the happenings to the social media where she accused Davido and his crew of dumping the deceased body at a General Hospital having died in the singer’s car.
While Davido was initially silent on the issue, his crew denied the whole speculation by Danjuma saying that Davido was not at the lounge where Tagbo died nor was his car used to take Tagbo to the hospital.
Reacting to the speculation fueled by Danjuma, Davido later took to social media to douse the allegations against him saying this was not the first time wrong information would be bandied around about him, but while praying that God grants the family of the decease the fortitude to bear their loss, he would love not to talk about the issue as at this time out of respect for the family of the deceased.
Interestingly, Danjuma has since pulled down all of her negative posts where she alleged Davido and his crew of dumping Tagbo’s body in a General Hospital. Since, the post were removed, there have been questions like why did she removed them.
While some people are of the opinion that she might have been threatened with a suit for libel others are that it might be the decision of Tagbo’s family to respect him in death and move on rather than turn the whole incident into a fiasco.
