Skales has proven that diss by music critics will not stop him from doing what he likes.
With the release of the video of his song ‘Akolo’, the singer became the target of music critics who felt he took to wearing a waist purse because his colleague Olamide did same in one of his viral video.
This, has, however, not stopped the singer from clinging to his style, as he is still wearing the bag. It’s been weeks since he was hit heavily by Osagie, but Skales is not giving up on his new fashion bag.
In a recent interview, the singer stated that his critic was way behind in terms of fashion; hence he didn’t know that the waist bag is what is in vogue. According to Skales, the waist bag trend started in the streets of United Kingdom even before anyone started wearing it in Nigeria.
Further, he revealed that even before Olamide stared rocking the waist bag, Burna Boy was doing, while he has always been doing it on the streets, but not in his video. The singer revealed that apart from the bag being a fashion accessory, he also uses it to carry things he can’t put in his pockets.
Agolo is one of the latest efforts of Skales in recent times and the song has been receiving positive reviews.
