The message in the popular saying “charity begins at home” does not hit home with some people.
It appears not to with the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Just as there are two sides to a coin, there are two sides to the tales of Sanwo-Olu’s achievements.
While there are those who hold the opinion that his achievements since assuming office have been a smokescreen, there are others who maintain the man has just started his tenure.
Yet again, there are people who have frowned at the governor’s sense of priority, choosing to party while Lagosians suffer in the hands of road maintenance contractors overwhelmed by the extent of damages on Lagos roads.
Sanwo-Olu’s situation has not been helped by his overexcitement at the coronation of lotto boss, Sir Adebutu Kessington as the Odole Oodua, an event which recently held in Ile Ife, Osun State.
