There is no disputing the fact that Mavin Records is one of the leading labels in the country. The label is also not resting on its achievements, as its founder is set to give his artistes better opportunities.
Don Jazzy signed a new management deal with a creative talent firm, ‘The Temple Management Company (TMC), on Monday June 27. The deal was signed by the CEO of TMC, Idris Olorunnimbe, and Mavin boss, Don Jazzy.
Don Jazzy revealed that with the contract signed, a new dawn awaits Mavin Records and all of its talents.
According to him, ‘Mavin Records is stepping into the future with The Temple Management Company as they redefine creative talent management in Nigeria’. Interestingly, question of what the future really hold for the artistes on Mavin Records have been asked.
The reason is not far-fetched, as Olorunnimbe and his company TMC are not considered popular in the music industry.
Olorunnimbe, a graduate of University of Lagos holds a Bachelor of Law (LL.B). He is quoted to be skilled in talent management; talent scouting; talent booking among other things.
