Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike has predicted the outcome of the Edo state gubernatorial election.
Governor Wike made the prediction barely 48 hours to the election.
According to a report by ‘The Cable’, Wike said if the police are able to prevent political thugs from playing a role during the governorship election, the All Progressives Congress (APC) would be “beaten silly.”
The governor reportedly made the statement while speaking during a live interview on African Independent Television (AIT) on Thursday, September 17.
According to him, the only hope the APC has on winning the election is to manipulate the process.
