Society Eid-il-Fitr: Pray For Peace And Be Security Conscious During Celebration – NURTW Boss, Agbede Published 9 years ago on July 6, 2016 By The Octopus News Admin The Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Lagos State chapter, Chief Tajudeen Agbede, has called on Muslims all over the world, and Lagosians in particular to pray for peace and be security conscious during the Eid-il-Fitr celebration. Agbede who stated this in office on Monday, 4th July, 2016, said Allah swt has purposely use this Holy month of Ramadhan as blessing for Muslims all over the world. The NURTW Boss said Lagosians should alert security agencies if notice of unsuspected person is around their area “as the Holy month of Ramadhan comes to an end, we enjoined Muslims all over the world, and Lagosians in particular to be security conscious and report unsuspicious act to the security agencies” Agbede said. He added that “we NURTW Lagos State chapter has beef up security around our various parks to ensure safety of our people”. “We enjoined our Muslim brothers and sisters to pray for peace and unity during the celebration”.
