Fancy Acholonu, a former fiancee of thespian Alex Ekubo has apologised for the choice of words she used while announcing her separation from the actor.
Announcing the end of the engagement, Fancy had written, “Everyone should find their happiness and live in their truth”.
This was interpreted by many to mean that Ekubo is a closeted gay.
Clarifying issues, Acholonu apologised for giving that impression and also explained that it wasn’t the message she was trying to pass across.
She added that Alex has apologised for what he did that led to the end of their engagement and she has apologised for her reaction.
