Tech FG Sues Facebook, Instagram’s Parent Company, Metal Published 2 years ago on October 4, 2022 By The Octopus News Admin Metal, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp has been dragged to court by the federal government of Nigeria. The federal government is suing Metal via the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON). Meta is alleged to have s unapproved advertisements to the Nigerian audience. In a statement released on Tuesday, October 4, ARCON also said that it sued Meta’s agent, AT3 Resources Limited, in the suit filed before the federal high court in Abuja.
