Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Folly Coker might have reignited the speculations that he is the owner of Mavin Records.
In 2014, there had been widespread speculations that he was the money man behind the success of the label, but Coker had denied having any relationship with the business. Then, he described the story about the ownership of Mavin Records as “the figment of the imagination of fantasies.”
Those who recall will remember that during the speculation it was said that Coker rescued the team that was dumped by D’banj by investing in Mavin Records, while appointing Don Jazzy as the front man.
On Wednesday, August 31, Coker was one of the faces who stormed the album listening party of Reekado Banks which held at Hardrock Café, Victoria Island, Lagos State.
His presence at the event has been described by some people as giving support to his own.
