For many, the rich have a perfect life. However, the truth is simply that the rich also cry.
Ask Folorunsho Alakija, Africa’s richest woman and she will confirm this.
As you read, the woman is planning for the wedding of her son Folarin Alakija, however not without feeling the pains of a recent loss.
Alakija lost her elder brother, Olawale Dawood Ogbara, to the cold hands of death following an asthma crisis.
Ogbara, a barrister, passed away recently at the age of 58, in his Lagos residence, after suffering an asthma attack.
He was one of the sons of the late Chief Lamidi Ogbara, a businessman from Ikorodu town, Lagos.
Known to share a close bond with the deceased, there is no doubt that Alakija will miss him, as he would not be at her son’s second wedding with Naganin Tehran, daughter of an Iran-based businessman.
The nuptial, which will see Folarin walking the isle again having lost his first wife to cancer comes up on Saturday, November 19, at the Grand Ballroom of Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
