Former Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Andrew Yakubu has been arrested.
Yakubu who became GMD of NNPC in 2012 after his appointment was approved by former President Goodluck Jonathan was sacked Jonathan in 2014.
He was arrested on Monday, June 20, by men of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Yakubu will be arraigned before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja on a four-count charge of money laundering and corruption today, Monday, June 20.
