At least three top managers of SEPLAT Petroleum Development Company Limited have been sacked.
The reason has been traced to a monumental fraud which recently rocked the outfit.
Sources close to www.theoctopusnews.com, revealed that trouble started when the sacked staffers were indicted for their roles in some dirty transaction which had to do with the company’s businesses with a period of time.
The secret of the sacked managers became public notice when unknown to them their account had been placed under observation and the company eventually unveiled how deep they had eaten into the outfit’s finances.
Besides this, there is another angle to the story. It is also been said that the sack is as a result of a fallout between the two top executives of the company namely ABC Orjiakor, the Chairman of the outfit and it’s Managing Director Austin Avuru.
The bad blood between the two is said to be what has led to the sack of those who consider themselves loyalists.
