Fuji Icon, K1 De Ultimate Announces New EP, Drops New Song

Fuji Czar, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal popular as K1 De Ultimate has announced a new project with a single dubbed ‘Awade’.

With a music career spanning over 50 years, K1 has seen it all, enjoying critical and commercial success home and abroad having started as a young man in 1970, growing into an African cultural icon.

“Fuji The Sound E.P”, K1 De Ultimate’s upcoming body of work has been described as a forward-thinking interpretation of Fuji music.

The EP which has six songs is a product of two years of tweaking and experimentation across languages, boasting a rhythmic drum-heavy pattern of the finest brand of Fuji music while reflecting an urban spirit that K1 De Ultimate has become known for.

“Fuji the Sound E.P” which will drop on Friday, August 21, boasts of A-list collaborations with singers, Teni and Toby Grey, while producer Mystro caps it.
