Full of life and zest aptly describe Yisa Olanikpekun, the Zaki of Arigidi-Akoko, a serene town in Ondo State.
Oba Olanikpekun, who became the monarch of his town in 2014, after an Akure High Court dismissed a case filed by Prince Tunde Olanipekun questioning his selection shone like a million stars recently.
A weeklong multifaceted event which held recently in the town confirmed that Oba Olanikpekun’s selection as monarch of the town wasn’t an accident.
The fiesta, which included programmes such as Arigidi Day, Miss Okota, and fund raising for the construction of the monarch’s palace showed how much the Zaki of Arigidi-Akoko is loved by his people.
