Politician cum actor, Rotimi Makinde, is taking credit for creating a platform for the every thespian who has turned politician.
Speaking during an exclusive interview with us, Makinde, revealed that being the first actor in Africa to be so privileged to become a politician, he created the platform for others to come on board.
Makinde, stated that the fact that Desmond Elliot and Femi Adebayo are politicians today was because he didn’t mess up as a politician when he was in the House of Representatives.
The dark-complexioned man further encouraged unity amongst artistes saying that only unity can move Nollywood forward.
According to him, there can’t be unity when people say I belong to Jide Kosoko’s faction and another sect are saying that we belong to the Oga Bello’s faction.
Nollywood can only be better when there is only one Nollywood, when Jide Kosoko and Bello can be together in a room and Zebrudaya and Jide Kosoko can be in the same room.
