Goke Ilesanmi Pays Mum Last Respect

“Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live.”
The above quote by Norman Cousins is one which Goke Ilesanmi, the former Acting Editor of Financial Standard can relate to.
While the amiable man is hale and hearty, he carries a sorrow of sort with him due to the death of his mother.
Dr. Rachael Ilesanmi passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Ikare-Akoko, Ondo State.
A midwife, the woman who died at the age of 80, will be laid to rest today at her hometown, Okemesi Ekiti, Ekiti State.
Prior to her burial, a Service of Songs held at Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Oke-Aanu, Eshe Street, Ikare Akoko, Ondo State on Thursday, January 31.
Friday, February 1, saw a Wake keep Service holding at Okemesi Ekiti in honour of the deceased.
Survived by Mrs. Janet Afolabi; Mrs. Kikelomo Ekundayo; Goke Ilesanmi; Rotimi Ilesanmi, Tolorunju Ilesanmi, and many grandchildren, Dr. Ilesanmi who is described as a loving mother anyone would love to have will be missed.
