Alhaji Bala Bello Tinka, the Director General of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign organisation in Gombe State has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Alhaji Tinka also known as Tinka Point met with President Buhari.
At a meeting which held at the State House, Abuja, on Thursday, January 31, Tinker Point pledged allegiance to the APC, and also vowed to bring his political weight to bear on the election of the President for a second term in office.
To a lot of people, the defection of Alhaji Tinka deals a massive blow to the PDP in Gombe.
PDP has been governing the state since 2003.
Alhaji Tinka is expected to officially declare his defection on Saturday, February 2, when President Buhari campaigns in Gombe.
