Omoyele Sowore has stated that anytime there is a third party in a protest in Nigeria, it is the work of the government.
Sowore stated this during an interview, adding that the government acts brazenly without hiding its footprint.
According to him, during a protest in Abuja, the government used buses to bring armed thugs to the venue to attack protesters.
The former African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate in the 2023 election said this ahead of a proposed nationwide protest which he said would be massively successful.
Nigerians are set to embark on a nationwide protest on August 1, 2024. They seek to protest against hunger and bad governance in the country.
