Governor Oyetola Sacks LG Chairpersons, Councillors In Osun State

Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, has asked political office holders at the local government level in the state to vacate their positions.
The order follows the expiration of their tenures.
Recall that the political office holders were sworn in on February 5, 2018, after the local government elections of January 27, 2018.
In a statement issued on Friday, February 5, by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Wole Oyebamiji, the officials were asked to hand over to the most senior person in their local government area.
Governor Oyetola has told all local government chairpersons, and their councillors in Osun to hand over to most senior officer at the councils.
