Erstwhile governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha, has visited the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.
This is the second time Senator Okorocha will be visiting Governor Wike in one month.
Okorocha, a Senator on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC), had earlier visited Governor Wike for a project commissioning.
Okorocha was in Rivers State on Saturday, February 27, to commiserate with Governor Wike over the demise of his uncle.
Although Senator Okorocha was in Rivers for the funeral ceremony of Governor Wike’s uncle, the visit has raised defection speculations in the direction of the governor.
Wike was joined by several other political leaders for the funeral of his late uncle, Chief Charles Aleruchi Ihunwo Wike.
Politicians present at the funeral ceremony include former governors of Rivers State, Dr. Peter Odili and Sir Celestine Omehia, National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, South-South Zonal Chairman of the PDP, Chief Dan Orbih, and several others.
