However, Sunday, April 10, brought back memories, as former Ogun State Governor and Chairman of Kresta Laurel Plc, Otunba Gbenga Daniel celebrated his 60th birthday.
The event which held at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos was a convergence of notable individuals from all works of life.
Captains of industry, traditional ruler, politicians and religious leaders gathered to celebrate OGD, as Otunba Daniel is fondly called.
Faces at the event included former Head of State, Chief Ernest Shonekan, Awujale of Ijebu Ode, Oba Sikiru Adetona, Governor Ayodele Fayose, Chief Rasaq Okoya and wife, Shade, former governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, former Oyo governor, Chief Alao Akala and Senator Olorunmbe Mamora.
Others are Pastor Tunde Bakare, Dr. Olorogun Sunny Kuku, Yeye Oge Opral Benson, Jimi Agbaje, Hon. Ladi Adebutu, Oba Dokun Abolarin, Dapo Abiodun, Akarigbo of Remo, Hon. Titi Oseni, Kemi Otegbade, Barr. Shade Balogun, Ogun Deputy Governor, Yetunde Onanuga, Oba Otudeko, Dele Alake, Senator Buruju Kashamu, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo and several others.
On the night, with the nature of guests, drinks, and food available there was no disputing the fact that the memories of the birthday party would linger for a long while, at least till another of such party holds.
