How Obasanjo Escaped Death In Plane Crash

Ex-President, Olusegun Obasanjo and 393 other passengers, escaped death in a near plane crash in Lagos today.
Reports have it that the former president was among the passengers onboard an Ethiopian Airlines plane that failed to land at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
The Ethiopian Airlines aircraft, ET-901, had departed the Bole International Airport, Addis Ababa and was scheduled to land at Muritala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos.
Five hours after flying and arriving Lagos, the pilot attempted to land at the Lagos Airport but failed.
Rain, fog and heavy wind were said to have obstructed his vision forcing him to manouvered the plane back on air.
He however, landed in Lagos airport, some 20 minutes after the initial failed attempt at landing, having flew out if the airport only to return.
The ex-President was on his way back from Ethiopia where he had gone for a Stakeholders Dialogue on Continental Trade and Strengthening Implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) in Ethiopia.
The event ended on Tuesday, May 28th.
