The remains of Alfred Abidemi Olaiya, son of legendary high life musician Pa Victor Olaiya has been committed to mother earth.
Olaiya, who was 38 years old, was buried on Friday, May 8, at Vault and Garden, Ikoyi Lagos State, amidst fanfare.
The remains of the late Olaiya who is survived by a wife and three children was buried in a fanciful Ebony Casket, as trumpeters played various tunes before he was laid to rest.
Prior to his burial, a funeral service for the deceased held at Chapel of the Healing Cross Idi-Araba, Lagos State.
Olaiya died on Monday, May 4. Interestingly, many frowned at the fanfare that accompanied his burial, as they said such should not accompany the burial of a 38 years old youngman.
