That popular actress Aisha Abimbola also known as ‘Omoge Campus’ is dead is not news anymore. However, very few people are in the know about how the actress died.
According to information available to www.theoctopusnews.com, she surrendered to breast cancer, after years of battling the ailment.
Unknown to a lot of people, the 46 years old actress had been battling the sickness for a while, but eventually gave up the ghost last night in Canada.
Confirming her death, her colleague, Bisola Badmus said she was still in shock at the development, as she revealed that the actress had gone too soon.
She was known for her stellar roles in movies such as ‘F’emi Ra Emi’, ‘Eje Adegbenro,’ a film produced by Prince Jide Kosoko, Bola Igida’s ‘Omoge Campus’ from which she rose to fame.
She was also popular for her roles in TV series such as Papa Ajasco, Awerijaiye produced by Deji Rotimi, and Wale Adenuga Super Story.
Born on December 19, in Epe, Lagos lsland, Lagos state, she studied Hotel Management from Lagos state Polytechnic (LASPOTECH).
Some of her awards includes the City People Entertainment Award for Yoruba Movie Personality of the Year.
